Adam’s Madams
Eve’s Times has a platform for the Chennai Man too. Here’s a column exclusively designed for the Chennai Man who can express his views, thoughts, emotions and indeed his admiration for the Chennai woman and other women in his life. One cool guy who has danced his way to the hearts of young damsels is Bharath, whose nimble feet coupled with histrionics have ensconced him firmly in the South Indian tinsel town as a promising hero and actor. But as we all know, NO MAN indeed can climb up the flagpole of success without the backing of women and Bharath is no exception. Caught unawares in action amidst slushy, muddy quagmire, Bharath reveals the women in his life…
Oh Mother Dear!
My mother has played a major role in my life. Usually, some parents hesitate about granting much freedom to their children. I’m proud to say that my mother has never been like that. She has always encouraged all my endeavours and has bestowed trust upon me. She has been very inspiring; a source of constant motivation for me. Not many mothers feel comfortable if her child enters the tinsel-town; but my mother has been very supportive.
Sweet Sis’
My younger sister, Preethi is another person who has influenced me and my life. I have to give her the credit for being the best critique for me. My parents are generally full of praise about my performances. On the other hand, Preethi is very quick at spotting my weaknesses and helping me work on them. She has also been very inspiring and has helped me hone my acting skills.
Friends Are Forever
I also have a very close friend called Manju. We’re so close that I almost feel she is a part of me. She’s been with me through thick and thin, and has never let me down.
Art Together
My co-artiste Pooja is another unforgettable woman. She’s a very positive, optimistic person, and there’s a lot to learn from her. We have been good friends ever since we acted in the movie Pattiyal. I am practically intimidated by the way she addresses people and carries herself. She’s a very down-to-earth person with admirable qualities.
Wow Women!
Today’s women are very focussed, unlike olden days, when men used to have the upper hand. Now, everything is fifty-fifty. I’m really glad that the epoch has changed.
