Star Teenager of the Week…. Kaavya Krishna

Kaavya Krishna , a student of MOP Vaishnav College for Women secured  the University first  rank in B.Sc Visual Communication and was also placed University third in English and  University eighth in French. A brilliant young girl with excellent artistic  and communication skills, she is currently pursing a course in animation in Bangalore. She aspires to go to the US to continue her education after this. Seen in the picture is Kaavya Krishna, winning the P.Haridas endowment award for proficiency in Visual Communication during the 149th annual convocation of University of Madras on November 14th 2006 from the Hon’ble Governorof Tamilnadu, Surjit Singh Barnalawho gave away the medals and certificates. The chief guest during the occasion was Union Finance Minister P. Chidambaram. Also seen in the picture are the State Higher Education Minister K Pondmudy and Vice-Chancellor K Ramachandran.
