In fact, they are not allowed to park their vehicles wherever they want, one reason for their flat tummies and reed-thin bodies. If you go to work by bus, start a little earlier, get down one stop before your usual stop and walk. But if you carry a heavy briefcase or a handbag, and try to walk in a huff to your office, it will only result in disaster.

So you heave a sigh of relief when you sight an elevator gliding down? The truth is that you burn a lot of calories just climbing that one or two flight of stairs. Soon you will also get used to it.
-
If you are running errands, try to go by a cycle. Why do you have to rush for your two-wheeler/car keys?
-
It is not a bad idea to hide your TV remote so that whenever you want to surf, which would be quite a few times, you may have to get up frequently to change channels.
-
Similarly, while you are working in your computer, find excuses to get up and more around as frequently as possible. This will not only exercise your muscles and relax your back, it will also relieve the tension in your eyes and fingers!
A piece of advice for the die-hard ‘excercisers’ and the middle-aged fitness enthusiasts----
If you are a man above forty or a woman above fifty, never start an exercise regime without the consultation of a doctor. Even if you are a youngster, it is advisable to go to a fitness expert and a dietician under whose advice you can chart out an intelligent programme to suit your body type and dietary preferences.
